Terror group member in detention over 3-years

Samar Abad Altif Albarak, 39, from Kalkaliya, has been held in administrative detention in Israel for more than 3-years due to his membership in a global terror organization. Publication of this information has now been authorized.

Albarak was arrested in 2010 and not released due to the fear that his residence in the area would enable the development of significant Jihad infrastructure in the region. Previously he was arrested and questioned by American authorities at Guantanamo prison, and later imprisoned by the Jordanian authorities from 2003-2008. (Aviel Magnezi)
