Report: Egypt army seizes antiquities being smuggled to Israel

Palestinian news agency Maan reported that Egyptian security forces seized antiquities dating back to the Roman and Pharaoh eras, which were likely about to be smuggled from the Sinai Peninsula into Israel.
A crisis broke out between Israel and Egypt recently after the Egyptian ministry of antiquities discovered ancient artifacts were put on sale by a Jerusalem auction house. Israel returned 90 of those artifacts to Egypt. (Roi Kais)
