MK Strock urges government to vote against Shai Nitzan

Knesset Member Orit Strock (Habayit Hayehudi) said in response to the decision to appoint Deputy Attorney General Shai Nitzan as the new state prosecutor, "I call on the government ministers to refuse to take part as marionettes in the presentation of Shai Nitzan's appointment."
According to Strock, a government voting for Nitzan is a crippled government. "A government appointing a state prosecutor whose hostile stance towards the Judea and Samaria settlement is known to everyone will not be able to complain later on that it is being 'raped' by the legal echelon to accept a policy which is against its will. The government must come to its senses immediately." (Moran Azulay)
