IDF Computer Service Directorate undergoes cyber attack drill

Over the last few days, the IDF Computer Service Directorate led a wide-scale exercise which included extreme scenarios like cyber attacks on IDF operational computer system and wide-ranging technical failures that simulated a break in the chain of command.
A senior IDF official said that the exercise was the largest and most significant of its kind in five years, and that one of its targets was to differentiate between technical failures and a cyber attack taking advantage of a technical failure. (Yoav Zitun)
