Report: Dispute in Obama admin about Egypt policy

According to a report in London-based Arabic Daily Al-Hayat, there is a difficult difference of opinion between President Barak Obama's advisors and Secretary of State John Kerry regarding US foreign policy in Egypt. The report cites diplomatic officials in Washington, who claim the disagreement intensified after the administration suspended part of the military aid to the country.

 

Kerry and Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel opposed the suspension, while NSA advisor Susan Rise supported the move. (Roi Kais)
