IDF unit hits suspect in no-entry zone near Israel-Egypt border

An IDF unit detected a two people in a no-entry zone near the border fence in Eilat. Attempts to stop the suspects resulted in the troops' gunfire in their direction. One of the suspects sustained injury to his abdomen and was evacuated to the Yoseftal Hospital in Eilat.
The IDF launched an investigation to ascertain whether motives were related to terror or criminal activities and whether other people were involved. (Yoav Zitun)
