Dov Lautman laid to rest

Hundreds attended the funeral of Israel Prize winner Dov Lautman, who passed away Saturday at the age of 77. President Shimon Peres, Education Minister Shai Piron, Former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Labor Chairman Isaac Herzog were also in attendance.
President Peres eulogized Lautman at the gravesite, saying: "Dovik, my dear friend…it's hard to say goodbye to someone who has been so inspiring to the sons of Israel… Farewell, magnificent soul, you will continue to shine in our hearts… as a hope that was not lost and will never be lost.
