Egypt: Attackers hurl hand grenade, wound guard

Egypt's state news agency says attackers riding on a motorcycle hurled a hand grenade at a police checkpoint near a famous Cairo palace, lightly wounding one of the guards.
The MENA report says the attack happened early on Monday near el-Quba palace in eastern Cairo. It says unknown assailants threw a hand grenade at the checkpoint and fled. (AP)
