2 indicted for Akko mayor attempted assassination
The Haifa District Attorney indicted 26-year-old Majdeida Makhar and a minor charged with shooting Akko Mayor Shimon Lankri last March. The indictment states the two attempted to burgle his car.
The minor is also charged with robbing the offices of a collection-agency. The indictment states the minor used the same gun in both cases. (Ahiya Raved)
