Jamal Spori, who received two years imprisonment for his involvement in the lynching of Eden Natan-Zada, announced that he would appeal to the Supreme Court. "We expected to get out of this without anything. And we believe that we're innocent and didn't do anything," he said.
Judge Ilan Schiff said: Anyone who carries out an act similar to this, in similar circumstances, notwithstanding race or religion, will be brought to justice, and the ancient defense of an eye for eye and a tooth for a tooth will not be accepted."
