Peres: Iranian people not Israel's enemies

President Shimon Peres addressed the Mexican Senate. Relating to Iran's nuclear program, he said that despite Israel's concerns of the Islamic republic's nuclear program, "we do not consider the Iranian people our enemies.
"Israel like the rest of the international community prefers a diplomatic solution. But the international community will not tolerate a nuclear Iran," the president added. (Eyal Lehman, Mexico)
