Al Mayadeen, a Lebanese network considered to be a Hezbollah affiliate, reported that explosive material from an old missile exploded near the Iranian embassy in Beirut. According to the report, the explosion occurred after workers at a nearby sore attempted to defuse it. There was no word on casualties.
The Iranian embassy denied to the Lebanese channel LBC that a missile had exploded in its vicinity. Another Lebanese media outlet, Al Jadeed, claimed that the missile is a relic from the Second Lebanon War. (Roi Kais)
