Ministerial committee grants tax benefits to same-sex parents
The Ministerial Committee on Legislation ratified a bill stating that same-sex couples be granted the same tax benefits for children as heterosexual couples do.
"We're talking about tens of thousands of shekels given to parents of children until the age of 18," said MK Adi Kol, who initiated the bill, adding she was thrilled that the State saw same-sex couples as a legitimate family. (Moran Azulay)
