Pillar of Defense bus attack terrorist convicted after plea bargain

The Tel Aviv District Court convicted Muhammad Mafarji, who laid explosives on a bus in the city during Operation Pillar of Defense. Mafarji was convicted of attempted murder and performing acts intended to aid an enemy.

 

The prosecution and defense reached a plea bargain in which the prosecution will ask for 25 years in prison and the defense will approach the court freely. (Naama Cohen-Friedman)
