Haifa: Road connecting downtown to Neve Sha'anan inaugurated
The City of Haifa inaugurated Highway Nahal Hagiborim Tuesday. The expressway connects the police station downtown to the neighborhood of Neve Sha'anan, allowing vehicles to pass through the two major areas in a matter of minutes.
Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz and Haifa Mayor Yona Yahav attended the event. The highway runs along the path of the stream, and because of its unique structure the city is planning on building an extreme water park parallel to it. (Ahiya Raved)
