PISA survey: Israeli students lag behind OECD counterparts

Israeli students' competencies in reading, mathematics and science are below the average recorded in OECD countries, the PISA 2012 survey indicates.

 

According to the data, the gap between top ranking and bottom ranking students in Israel is one of the biggest in the world. The Education Ministry noted that there has been a considerable improvement in Israeli students' overall competencies in the past decade. (Shahar Chai)
