Health committee approves 1st reading of male maternity allowance bill

The Knesset's Labor, Welfare and Health Committee approved the first reading of a bill proposal that would give a maternity allowance (not just holiday days) to the spouse in situations where the mother isn't capable of taking care of the newborn because of a disability or sickness.
