The IDF Military Advocate General said Thursday that it told human rights organization B'Tselem that it closed the file on the death of Mustafa Tamimi, who was killed during a riot next to the Palestinian village of Nabi Salah in 2011. The announcement said:"The shots were fired according to the relevant regulations and guidelines."
The Advocate General said the soldier that fired the gas bomb, from which Tamimi was killed, wasn't capable of seeing the Palestinian standing behind a jeep. (Yoav Zitun)
