J'lem: Father accused of kidnapping son over visiting rights
None
The Jerusalem Central Intelligence Unit arrested a 50-year-old man who allegedly kidnapped his 8-year-old son nine months ago, who was studying in an educational institution in the north. According to the suspicion, the father took his son because he wasn't satisfied with his visiting rights.
In the past months, the father changed addresses multiple times, which made it difficult to locate him. Detectives of the unit managed to find him Thursday night in Tel Aviv. The child was taken back to his mother Friday morning, and the police will ask the Nazareth Magistrates' Court to extend the father's arrest. (Ahiya Raved)
