Beit Shemesh mayor: Police evidence of counterfeits is weak
None
Beit Shemesh Mayor Moshe Abutbol has submitted to the Jerusalem District Court his response to the pleas that were submitted against the results of the municipal elections. Abutbol said that Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein wants to take unjustified measures against him.
Abutbol also said that the police's evidence of counterfeits is weak and that it's only possible to prove that tens of identification cards were used for illicit voting, which wouldn't have affected the result anyway. (Aviel Magnezi)
