Report: Abbas wants borders recognized prior to security talks

A senior Palestinian representative told the daily Al Hayat that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas demanded from US Secretary of State John Kerry that there be recognition of Palestinian state borders before any security talks take place.
In their Thursday meeting, Abbas said that Israel wants to solidify security boundaries and then force the Palestinians to agree to those lines as state boundaries. (Roi Kais)
