Source: Peace talks to go on longer than six months
A source involved in peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians said negotiations will extend beyond the nine-month timeframe originally setout by US Secretary of State John Kerry.
In light of difficulties plaguing the talks, the US, Israel and the Palestinians have begun to accept the fact that more time will be needed to overcome differences between the parties and reach an agreement. The source added that Kerry will also dramatically increase his direct involvement in talks. (Attila Somfalvi)
