Herzog to Kerry: Rare opportunity for agreement with Palestinians
Knesset member Isaac Herzog met with US Secretary of State John Kerry during the Saban Forum in Washington. The meeting included the head of the US peace negotiations team Martin Indyk, the US ambassador to Israel Dan Shaprio, and Israeli ambassador to the US Ron Dermer.
Herzog emphasized to Kerry the deep commitment of the Labor party to the peace process, as long as Israel's security is maintained. He told Kerry that he appreciated the rare opportunity to make peace offered by the new negotiations to make a lasting peace for future generations. (Moran Azulay)
