Report: Sinai terrorists escape to Gaza Strip

Tens of senior members of Jihad Ansar Beit al Maqdis, which operates in the Sinai Peninsula, escaped to the Gaza Strip and the Matrouh Governorate on the border with Libya, according to a report in Al-Masry Al-Youm.

Egyptian military officials said that activists had managed to flee to Gaza after army forces chased them out and even killed some of them. Some of those who ran away include those responsible for a gas pipe terror attack, a car bomb attack and for the kidnapping and killing of soldiers in Rafah. (Roi Kais)
