Tira woman detained for hiding bullets in baby's blanket
A 24-year-old woman from Tira was detained Monday for allegedly hiding ammunition in a blanket that was covering her baby. Police officers in Tayibe entered the suspect's house after receiving a search warrant, and found the woman holding her baby wrapped up in a blanket.
The woman refused to give the blanket to the police, but after she was told that she had to undergo a body search, she removed 9-mm bullets from the blanket. She was released after investigation on restricted terms. (Raanan Ben-Tzur)
