Peres won't attend Mandela's memorial after having flu last week
President Shimon Peres will not attend Nelson Mandela's memorial service in South Africa because he has not yet fully recovered from the flu, which he had last week. The president expressed his willingness to represent Israel, but after advising with his doctor, it was decided that he will stay and rest in the country.
