The Calcalist has reported that Cellcom, Pelephone and Golan Telecom signed a network cooperation deal, which will establish a joint 4th generation network (LTE). Pelephone and Cellcom will share network spots, allowing each of the companies to use the other's cellular site and establish its technological equipment there.
As a result of the deal, each company will dismantle 45% of its network sites, saving tens of millions of shekels in leasing and management fees. (Golan Hazani, Ofir David, Calcalist)
