Dutch water company severs ties with Mekorot

The largest water utility in the Netherlands, Vitnes, informed Israeli water utility Mekorot that it has decided to end the two companies' cooperation, apparently because of the latter's operations in the territories. Mekorot refused to comment.
The company noted the decision was based on political considerations. "Vitnes strictly maintains its integrity and obeys international law," said the statement. (Hillel Posek and Michal Margalit)
