Human rights organizations in Syria are reporting that 20 people were killed in the storm that swept the region away, including six newborn babies and an elderly woman who froze to death in refugee camps in Syria and Turkey.
Syrian opposition interim prime minister said that the areas in northern Syria are disaster-struck due to the heavy snow and turned to international organizations and Arab countries for help. (Roi Kais)
