Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that "thanks to the determination of the security and rescue forces and thanks to citizens' cooperation, many lives were saved."
During a cabinet meeting, Netanyahu stressed that "the State of Israel is dealing well with the great storm. I believe we responded better than countries that handle with such storms more often." (Noam 'Dabul' Dvir)
