Israeli academics to global colleagues: Condemn boycotts

Israel's University Presidents Association released a statement in response to the American Studies Association's academic boycott of the Jewish State: "We call on our colleagues, members of the academy from across the world, to condemn these boycotts."
The Association continued, "Endorsing a boycott of a sole researcher or an entire academic institution of any kind is a phenomenon with difficult consequences for academic freedom." (Shahar Chai)
