Police: We failed to predict snow storm

Commander Yossi Bachar, head of the Israel Police's operations department, addressed the claims of failure in rescue forces' activity during the snow storm.
"What can we do, we didn't predict it. But if police cars had not blocked Highway 1, there would have been 2,000 more people on the road," he told the Knesset's Internal Affairs Committee. "It was the police's worst night. Cops ran from car to car and rescued whoever they could." (Moran Azulay)
