Report: British volunteer doctor dies in Syrian prison

Abbas Khan, an orthopedic surgeon from South London, died in a Syrian prison, the BBC reported. Khan came to Syria to volunteer in the hospital in Aleppo, where he was arrested last year.
His brother said Syrian security forces promised his release this week but then reported Monday that he died. (Ynet)
