The assistant director-general of a hi-tech company, a 42-year-old man from the Sharon region, was sentenced to 14 years in prison after being found guilty last March of committing sexual crimes with minors. In the plea bargain, the judges in the Lod District Court said this was the most severe and twisted case that was ever brought before them.
In May 2012, the man was arrested for committing sexual offenses with girls aged 10-13 via the internet. The man was also sentenced to pay NIS 10,000 to each of the 33 people who filed complaints. (Naama Cohen-Friedman)
