Charges filed against man who poured hot tea on MK Tibi

An indictment and request for remand pending the conclusion of the legal proceedings were filed against a 47-year-old Beersheba resident for assaulting a public servant, after pouring hot tea on Knesset Member Ahmad Tibi Thursday.
The defendant's attorney claims that his client is known to welfare services, and he is a sick man and did not commit the deeds from improper or racist motives. (Mati Siver)
