Bombing near Shiite town's school in Syria kills 5

Activists and state media in Syria say a suicide car bombing near a primary school in a Shiite town has killed at least five people.

The British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said a suicide bomber detonated the explosives-laden car outside the school in Umm al-Amed. (AP)
