Report: Car bombing in Libya kills 8 soldiers

Libya's official news agency is reporting a suicide car bombing on the outskirts of the eastern city of Benghazi has killed eight soldiers.

It says the early Sunday morning attack targeted a military checkpoint where people stop at before entering the city and that more than ten soldiers were wounded. The blast also wounded several people who were waiting to be checked. (AP)
