Turkey's state-run news agency says authorities have removed another 25 senior police officials from duty amid accusations from opposition parties that Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's government was trying to obstruct a corruption investigation that has targeted his allies.
Twenty-four people, including the sons of government ministers and a state-owned bank's chief, have been arrested as part of the probe which Erdogan has denounced as a dirty plot to damage his Islamic-based government. (AP)
