State pays NIS 1.3 million for uncompensated youth sex victims

The State has handed out more than NIS 1.3 million to 486 youth victims of sexual offenses and violence.
The compensation was given out based on an amendment to the law, which stated that since the culprits could no longer provide the funds that the court demanded for the victims, the government would pay. (Aviel Magnezi)
