Lapid: Need solution for hospitals treating Syrian refugees

Finance Minister Yair Lapid and Health Minister Yael German visited Ziv Medical Center in Safed. Lapid addressed the financial deficit the hospital is facing due to its treatment of Syrian refugees: "We are discussing this in the cabinet and we'll need to find a solution."
German also addressed the matter: "The deficits of the hospitals in Safed, Nahriya, and Haifa have reached NIS 30 million ($8.6 million) and they cannot carry this on their backs." Lapid announced that the State will invest NIS 24 million ($6.9 million) for a new MRI machine. (Maor Buchnik)
