Explosion at southern Russian train station kills three

An explosion at a train station in the southern Russian city of Volgograd killed three people and wounded six others on Sunday, the Interfax news agency cited a law enforcement source as saying.

The cause of the blast was not immediately clear. An attack by a female suicide bomber in the same Russian city on October 21 killed seven people, in the deadliest such blast outside the volatile North Caucasus region in nearly three years. (Reuters)
