Absorption Ministry: 63% rise in French aliyah

During 2013, about 19,200 olim arrived in Israel, a slight rise compared to 18,940 who came in 2013, according to figures released by the Ministry of Immigrant Absorption and the Jewish Agency.
There was an impressive rise of 63% in the number of olim from France (3,120) and an overall rise of 35% in aliyah from Western Europe. (Omri Efraim)
