Livni: Bills harming negotiations, State will be prevented

Justice Minister Tzipi Livni said at Hatnua faction meeting: "We will not allow the State of Israel and the citizens of Israel to pay the price of inner politics. Hatnua will prevent extremism in parties to turn into government policies."
Against the backdrop of the bill to annex the Jordan Valley, Livni added: "We have a duty to Am Yisrael and not to radicals in one party or another. I was in Likud – I know the weakness of politicians against these threats. We will act to prevent bills that harm negotiations and the State of Israel." (Moran Azulay)
