Israel Tax Authority grants same-sex couples tax benefits
None
The Israel Tax Authority began rolling out tax benefits for same-sex couples even though the bill has only passed a preliminary reading in the Knesset and has yet to pass the second and third reading required to turn it into law.
The Tax Authority's website published an order sent by Miri Savion, deputy-director general for assessment and inspection, in which she noted that same-sex couples must be given the benefits. (Moran Azulay and Avital Lahav)
