Peres: Arabs beginning to realize Israel is not their problem
President Shimon Peres said that he hopes that "Arabs are beginning to realize Israel is not their problem. Their problems are that they cannot live without food or freedom. Some thought that terror would harm Israel but terror crumbles the Arab world."
The president further said at the Galilee Conference: "I admit that I never thought the day would come in which Israel takes in 600 patients from Syria. I believe in a (peaceful) vision but I must say that even that vision reached heights I never imagined." (Maor Buchnik)
