Akunis: Withdrawal from Jordan Valley will cost us dearly
During a tour of the Jordan Valley, Deputy Speaker of the Knesset MK Ofer Akunis said "a withdrawal from the Valley, uprooting settlements and an IDF retreat will be a strategic mistake that will cost us dearly."
Akunis said about the reports about a potential giveaway of the area that "the Jordan Valley is Israel's iron wall, and only with the IDF's and the settlers' presence will Israeli citizens' security be guaranteed." (Moran Azulay)
