PA to investigate explosion at Palestinian diplomat's residence

Palestinians have allowed local police to enter the diplomatic quarter and investigate the circumstances behind  the explosion at the home of the Palestinian representative to the Czech Republic, Jamal al-Jamal. A team of PA officials will investigate the incident along with local police.

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry said that the ambassador was seriously injured in an explosion that occurred while he tried to open an old safe transferred from his former office to his new residence. The explostion occurred minutes after he opened it. He is now being treated in a hospital in Prague. (Elior Levy)
