Former PM Ariel Sharon suffers from kidney failure

Former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon suffers from kidney failure. A short time ago it was reported that his condition worsened. Sharon, 85, is hospitalized at Chaim Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer.

 

Sharon has been in a coma since January 4, 2006, after suffering a second stroke in less than a month. According to the Chaim Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer, Sharon has never officially been diagnosed as suffering from a coma but was diagnosed as having a "low level of alertness."
