Lapid announces construction of 5,000 units for students
Treasury Minister Yair Lapid presented to the students association the government's plan to build 5,000 residential units for students across the country by 2016, at a cost of NIS 160 million ($46 million).
Lapid said, "1,000 units will be constructed in the periphery and 4,000 will be built in popular locations. I know in the past there were promises made, but now we have a practical plan." (Hila Tsion)
