Report: Iran asked Lebanon to participate in investigation of embassy bombing suspect
Iran has asked Lebanon to take part in the investigation of Majid al-Majid, the leader of the Abdullah Azzam Brigades who was arrested at the beginning of the week. Al-Majid's organization, which has been linked to al-Qaeda, took responsibility for the bombing of the Iranian embassy in Beirut.
Four months ago, the organization claimed responsibility for the rocket fire into Israel, according to the Lebanese paper the Daily Star. (Ynet)
